Rich Kohm Studios are based in Missouri, USA and provide photography and video services. Like many people, Richard wanted to build a site to address the growing number of potential clients viewing his gallery from a mobile phone. His existing site relied heavily on flash which does not enjoy widespread support on mobile devices and so a portion of the site was rebuilt in HTML. This still left the ever thorny issue of how to deal with the myriad displays currently in use on mobile devices, an issue of particular importance when trying to showcase high resolution images.

It was specifically to help people like Rich maximise their visual impact on mobile devices that dotMobi introduced Instant Mobilizer which uses the award winning DeviceAtlas to identify mobile device capabilities and reformat content to maximum effect.

With a little tweaking the site was up and running with advanced features such as click-to-call and Google Map links added by Instant Mobilizer.  The result is a beautiful mobile site that is completely device aware and provides an excellent showcase for Rich’s superb photographs.
