Cricket’s world cup was huge for mobile media

ESPN have seen the hype of the mobile web come to fruition after creating a mobile site for their ESPNcricinfo desk top site. ESPN have released figure illustrating the mobile version of its ESPNcricinfo site accounted for 45 million or 45 percent of all the brand’s page views the during the Cricket World Cup Final held on the 2 April.
